In the first 45 minute-segment, George will explore some of Vaughan Williams’ music and identify what makes it so special.

After some light refreshments, the second part of the talk will explore the personal impact that Vaughan Williams has had on George’s musical life with insights into the politics and personality of on of England’s most beloved composers.

The talk will happen in the Church Hall and event is free but with a retiring collection for the choirs and music at our Abbey Church. 7pm, Saturday 24 September.
