Welcome

The parishes of Beaulieu, Exbury and East Boldre in the New Forest lie between the outskirts of Lymington and the communities along Southampton Water, bordering the north shore of the Solent on both sides of the Beaulieu River. This is a beautiful and peaceful part of Hampshire full of bees and butterflies, ponies and pheasants. Here one can surely see the works of God.

From the Rectory Study

Welcome to the new Rector After a lengthy period without our own priest, we are now delighted to be able to announce the appointment of the Reverend Catherine Cowie as Rector of the Benefice of Beaulieu, Exbury and East Boldre. Catherine’s ministry among us started at a ‘licensing’ service conducted in the Abbey Church by the Bishop of Winchester, the Right Reverend Philip Mounstephen. Catherine comes to us from a rural Benefice in the Diocese of Gloucester. I am sure that all members of the congregations of Beaulieu Abbey Church, of St Katharine’s Exbury, of St Pauls, East Boldre and of St Mary’s Chapel, Bucklers Hard, and indeed all the parishioners of Beaulieu, Exbury and East Boldre join with the members of the three Parochial Church Councils, warmly to welcome Catherine, her husband Alexander and children Alan and Artemis, to our community. A Notice from from the Church Wardens of the Benefice of Beaulieu, Exbury & East Boldre
