Urgent reminder: Covid precautions for Abbey Church
The kitchen is CLOSED for everything, if you need a drink bring it with you. The single lavatory is open only for emergencies. The disabled toilet will only be opened by a steward. The Hall may NOT be used unless booked via the office. These rules are in place to keep EVERYONE safe.

Air flow during services
Following best practice and Government recommendations, it is essential that there is an effective flow of air through our churches during services. This is more acceptable when the weather is warm, but less so on colder Sundays! Please wear more or fewer layers as appropriate. FJ.

On Wednesday 21st October, 10.30am there will be a Coffee and Chat followed by a shortened Morning Prayer Service. This is via Zoom and open to anyone in the Benefice. Please email the Office to indicate your interest and a link, order of service etc will be sent to you.

Each week there is a Church of England weekly service online and available to watch at any time. This weeks service was led by The Anna Chaplains Lay Minister Debbie Thrower and her team. There is also the Daily Hope line 0800 804 8044 which is a free telephone number for hymns, reflections and prayers that is regularly updated and can be accessed 24/7.    Jane B-C

The Abbey Church is open to the visitors from the Museum 7 days a week in the afternoons. On some occasions over 100 visitors have been in to see our beautiful and historic church. We would like more stewards to join the team. Training will be given. Please contact Sally Brearley for more information.
