HARVEST THANKSGIVING EVENTS IN THE ABBEY CHURCH. Last Sunday morning saw the Harvest Thanksgiving Service in the Abbey Church, a Church beautifully decorated by the Flower Group with seasonal vegetables, flowers, seed and pictures of fish. A large congregation (including around 30 children, all hugely welcome) enjoyed the service.   On Monday evening, the Beaulieu Abbey Social Committee again triumphed and produced wonderful food for a Harvest Supper for eighty five souls. And on Wednesday lunchtime, twenty four people sat down to a Harvest Lunch, prepared by Christine Dare (very ably assisted by members of the congregation) and served by Father John and others. The event raised £135.00, to be presented to the Waterside Food Bank in Blackfield. So, in this time of Harvest, we remember how very blessed we are, in so many ways.  PM

HARVEST SUPPER – THANK YOU. We enjoyed a lovely Harvest Supper in the splendid setting of the Domus. I am grateful to Lord Montagu for once                  again making it available to us. Our thanks to the Social Committee who produced the delicious three courses. Well done Jan and her excellent team. Thanks also to the accommodating Estate staff who served us so well and who cleared away so efficiently after us. Thank you one and all. FJ
