Benefice Administrator: Elizabeth Field

THANKS  FROM  MARGARET. During last Sunday morning's service we marked Margaret Marshall's retirement as Benefice Administrator, a post she has held for the last nearly thirteen years. Appropriately, we showed our appreciation of Margaret on the feast of Candlemass, and as the Sunday reading referred to the faithful Anna and Simeon. Diligent and faithful in the role, a presentation was made to her. Subsequently Margaret wrote: “It has been a privilege and a joy to have been the Benefice Administrator for so long. I will still be around, just not in the Office on Thursdays. Thank you all so much for the beautiful flowers and the step-counter which will be encouraging me to get out walking more. You may not recognise the new slimmed down version! Thank you also for all the kind words that have been said to me. Being in the office and being involved in church matters has given me the chance to meet so many lovely people, many of whom I now count as my friends. love from Margaret Marshall.”

Elizabeth Field, who has worked closely with Margaret over the last year, is now Benefice Administrator. NB the amended times Elizabeth will be available in the Office.   FJ
