ST KATHARINE’S CHURCH CHRISTMAS FAYRE  Our next fundraising event is a Christmas Fayre which is taking place on Saturday 23rd November in St Katharine’s Churchstarting at 11.30am. There will be our famous home made soup and crusty bread, not to mention tea and the delicious ‘Ladies of St Kath’s’ cakes for you to enjoy! There will be many Christmas items for sale, gifts, Christmas cards and festive wrapping for all tastes to purchase.  Santa has left his sack for us to use as a lucky dip with ‘a gift every time’ for the children. There will be books to browse, ideal to curl up with in front of the fire on a cold winter’s night.  There will be a raffle which you never know, may well win you one of the excellent prizes on offer.  You can win a fabulous Christmas cake; all you have to do is guess its weight correctly. There will be a very large cuddly toy but it needs a name; maybe your choice will be the winner! This event promises to be as popular as all of our previous events. So put the date in your diaries, bring your children and grandchildren, if you haven’t got any to hand borrow some from friends and neighbours instead. Come to think of it why not bring the friends and neighbours along as well. We will be waiting!  There is plenty of parking opposite the church. Look for the signs.
