SEA SUNDAY The Sea Sunday Service will be held this evening at Buckler’s Hard alongside the river, commencing at 6.00pm. Canon Andrew Wright, Gen. Sec. for the Mission to Seafarers will be giving the Sermon. All are welcome. There will be no Evensong in the Abbey Church.

ANNUAL CHOIR  PICNIC  The Beaulieu Abbey Church Annual Choir Picnic was held last Saturday in the grounds of St Leonard's Farmhouse, hosted by Patricia and Adam Mills. BEAULIEU VILLAGE FETE  Sat July 20th; less than a week to go! Raffle tickets for the Fete Grand Draw are still available! Do please take some (£1.00 per ticket) and persuade family, neighbours and friends both to buy, AND come to the Fete. Prizes are always spectacular! Also, please remember to bring bottles, handbags, any unwanted jewellery, jigsaw puzzles, bric-a-brac etc. Speak to me for the best person to receive the goodies! 02381 788034.  PM                                                                                                               

FETE CAKE STALL Donations of home-made cakes for the Cake Stall at the Beaulieu Fete on 20th July are required. Ideally small cakes, traybakes that can be cut up, bread, loaf cakes, savouries, scones etc. Please inform Sally Brearley on 01590 612287 what you intend to donate so that the stall can be organised.  Please leave any cakes/bakes/savouries etc wrapped and clearly marked what it is on the sideboard in the corridor between the Church and Hall on Friday 19th July and Sally will visit throughout the day to collect items. NEW FOREST SHOW CHURCH TENT 30TH/31ST JULY, 1ST AUGUST Volunteers needed to help with hospitality in the church tent on all 3 days of the show. Interested? Contact Rev. Barry Kent, on 01425 611348 or 07999 504388. JH

EXBURY FETE Saturday 3rd August 12noon onwards in the grounds of Exbury Club. St Katharine’s Church are holding a stall and asking for contributions for the stall to help raise funds for the day-to-day running costs of the Church. Requested items: bric-a-brac, good second had books, plants, raffle prizes, bottles for the bottle tombola. BENEFICE BBQ   Tickets £13 Sunday 4th August  5.30 – 8pm Rectory Lawn  Please park in Church Meadow Welcome Drink, Menus yet to be finalised but probably chicken, sausage, dauphinoise potatoes, salads, raspberry trifle, cheese and  biscuits. Wine and soft drinks will be on sale. Tickets from Margaret Marshall in the office on Thursdays or after the 9.30am service in the Abbey Church on Sundays. 

MUSIC AT BEAULIEU - FB Pocket Orchestra (Jazz)  Sat 17th August, Tickets £15 Blues, Ragtime, Hot Jazz, Songs and Dances from long ago.
