BENEFICE  THANKS Many thanks to the ever-efficient John and Kathy Hughes for organizing our recent trip to St Cross, Winchester. It was a real treat; following our tour conducted by excellent guides and a tasty tea, we gathered for Evensong in the chancel. With further time to enjoy the peaceful and historic setting, we came away from Winchester refreshed and happy. Our thanks to the Revd. Reg Miles, Master, and the brethren, for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. Pictures will be posted on the benefice website.     FJ
