Beaulieu Village Fete:   A huge thank you to everyone  who worked so hard for the Village Fete. Financial details later but the numbers were good, the weather sensational and overall it was an excellent Fete. Especial thanks to all who managed stalls, and to all those stalwarts who worked so hard with set up and breakdown.              PM

Wed 8th August, 1 – 1.45pm, Abbey Church, Organ Recital by Martin Penrose, Organist from St Thomas’, Lymington. Retiring collection to Abbey Church Funds.

Please Park Prettily;  Would all churchgoers please park ONLY in Church Meadow (not in the road to Palace House) and also ensure that they leave access to some of the disabled spots in the Meadow close to the Church, for those with limited mobility.  The very few spaces in the car park close to the Church Hall are normally reserved for clergy, and for any member of the congregation who finds the walk from Church Meadow impracticable.  Many thanks.                                             PM

THE BENEFICE BBQ   A big thank you to those who laid on the Benefice BBQ on Sunday 22nd July. The Social Committee as always came up trumps, despite a very busy day before it with the Village Fete. Lord & Lady Montagu kindly agreed to us retaining the marquee and enjoying Palace House Grounds. Thank you to Paul for providing the vocal entertainment, to Dave & Chris for barbequing, and to the hugely efficient Jan Hoy team. Thank you to all of you, who organised, cooked, set up and cleared etc etc. Do check out the Benefice Website for the pictures taken during the event.
