A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thank you for your cards, presents and good wishes at Christmas                                                                      
Thanks to Peter, Andrew and the Abbey Choir for the Lessons and Carols Service last Sunday and to our Benefice organists, Robert and Joan.
Thank you to the Church Wardens and all in the Benefice Churches who take on additional responsibilities over the Christmas period. I am grateful to Margaret Marshall and to our verger and servers, readers, decorators, florists and cleaners who contribute so willingly and generously during this busy time. They are all much appreciated.       Fr John

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Elizabeth Field has been appointed to this position and will work 2x4hours every week. We welcome her.

FEBRUARY MAGAZINE
Articles/information etc. for the  February edition, must be in by  12th January. FJ                                                             

BENEFICE KNITTERS  for Seafarers
300 items were knitted and delivered to the Mission to Seafarers recently. Many thanks for that and for the donations of wool which are always appreciated. Knitting patterns are available from Ruth Crouch and Marigold.

POSTAGE STAMPS
Please remember to save your used postage stamps which will be used to raise money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Service. Collecting boxes for the stamps are in all the Benefice Churches
