18th of November St Katharine's Church. 12noon
Enjoy hot soup with crusty bread, also warm drinks and delicious cake's. Browse the stalls, purchase that early Christmas gift, card or wrapping. There will be indoor plants for sale, books, pickles and preserves as well as crafts and quality bric a brac. Guess the weight of the Christmas cake, enter the raffle and try to win a great prize. Let the children pull a gift from the 'lucky dip'. Try your hand on the bottle tombola. An absolutely enjoyable afternoon. Don't miss it, see you there.

BENEFICE KNITTERS for Seafarers
We would appreciate donations of double knitting wool for carrying on this outreach work. Please give to Ruth Crouch, Marigold Jordan or leave in the Benefice Office. Thank you.
Waterside Night Shelter
This is a Waterside Churches Together Project and is due to open on 1st December. The shelter will be based in a number of the Waterside Churches and will provide up to 6 beds for the homeless throughout the winter.
Monday 20th November 3pm for the Honourable Caroline Cecily Montagu Weston. Members of the congregation are welcome to attend at the Abbey Church.

ADVENT PROCESSION IN wINCHESTER CATHERDRAL -TIMING CHANGE The timing of our trip to Winchester for the service of readings and music on Saturday 2nd December has been changed. The coach will now leave the Abbey Meadow at 1630 arriving in Winchester at King Alfred's statue at 1730. There is a short flat walk to the Cathedral where we anticipate having reserved seating so we can enjoy the service all together at 1830.
The cost of the coach will be £12.00 per person.
