Two professional soloists, David Woodgates – conductor,

Martin Penrose – organist, the audience sing the choruses and the hymns. Scores for hire - £1 

Exbury Spring Fair – ST KATHARINE’S CHURCH

22nd of April. 12.00pm until 3.00pm

To raise funds towards our Restoration Appeal Fund, we are holding a Spring Fayre. Afternoon tea and cakes, bedding plants for sale ready to put in your borders or into your tubs. A Gift stall to buy that birthday present or even something for you - come on treat yourself. Crafts will also be on sale. There will even be a 'belated Easter egg' stall, just in case you haven't satisfied your chocoholicism. We have a raffle with great prizes the first one of which is worth £100. There are activities to take part in. 

Come along, support the appeal and help to save this historic old building. We look forward to seeing you at what promises to be a good afternoon out!

Bring your own favourite poem to read, serious, light hearted, funny, any poems you love. Or just come and listen. Then everyone will enjoy an English Cream tea, (sandwiches, cakes, scones). Tickets £6 from Margaret Marshall after church on Sundays or in the Office on Thursdays.

I.o.w. Benefice Outing  

This has been re-scheduled to:

Tuesday September 26th September.

Leave 0900 and return at about 1900.  Visit to St Mildrid's Church in Whippingham for guided tour and morning coffee. Lunch at  Godshill and afternoon tea and Vespers at Quaar Abbey. Cost (without lunch or tea) will be about £30.00. Fuller details nearer the time.

They have expressed a need for good quality garden furniture and games/construction kits to help mothers to play with their children. Any furniture offer, see SB

The prayer tree has grown and is now well used. Please continue to place requests – and causes for thanksgiving. These are included in the Wednesday morning communion. FJ
