Minutes of the PCC Meetings

Summary of Beaulieu PCC Meeting held 7.8.14

In addition to usual committee matters the following were discussed:

Deanery Synod Report: Mission Action Plan now in 2nd phase. Deanery Consultation Evening in June very useful, much discussion, all parishes represented (5 from Beaulieu) Next step will be notified soon, to be adjusted to suit by each parish. Please note: many Synod meetings are open to any member of the congregation to attend. Contact Jane Cockeram.

Heating- and all works complete and approved. Boiler on at all times for now; no oil used in last two months.  No new projects to be started during this period of Interregnum.

Benefice office now set up in Vicars Vestry, same tel numbers apply.

Website: new site = beaulieuchurches.org.uk now available, will be “live” when old site removed.

Overseas project: discussed and to be revisited next meeting. Thanks to Howard Moore.

Bell and tower to be inspected September

Signage to be looked at.

Small committee formed to deal with running of Benefice and immediate issues, meeting fortnightly.

Coordinator needed for Family Services. Please contact church wardens.

Mary Wharmby to retire, her last service will be 14.9.14. All welcome for coffee and cake after the service.

Female Clergy: discussed by PCC, would like congregation views, for planning offer for a new incumbent. PCC meeting with Archdeacon 2.10.14 to discuss further. Contact any PCC member.

Parish News: will continue to be printed; articles are wanted for future issues. Contact church wardens or the office.

No H&S issues to report.
