More news about our Beaulieu Village Fete

Preparations are well under weigh for the Fete on July 21.  We are still looking for a bit of help.  The Teat Tent is hoping to attract two people, one to assist with taking the money (a sitting down job) and the other to help in washing up crockery during the afternoon.  Interested folk, please apply to Diane Bacon, email This email address is being protected from spambots. A visit to Wells

On Tuesday June 26, John and Kathy Hughres led a group from the Benefice to Wells.  The day included coffee at Wilton, lunch and sightseeing in Wells itself, and attendance at the Choral Evensong in the Cathedral.  A delightful day was only slightly impaired by a mechanical problem with the coach, but even this was mitigated by happening within easy walking distance of a local hostelry. The weather was fine and hot, but all members of the group reported a satisfactory trip.  Many thanks to John and Kathy, who had to cope with a number of 'no shows', people unable to travel for a wide range of excellent reasons.  A few photographs from John can be seen by clicking here.  Many thanks to the Tour Guides!
