Church Notices

Christmas Services; 2020

This note is written in mid November.  There are still eleven days of 'Lock Down #2', and the future directions of government and diocesan policy as regards the opening of Churches over Christmas, are as yet un-clear.  However, we can assume that the present restrictions (social distancing, masks to be worn, no congregational singing) will remain in place.

On the assumption that services CAN be held over Christmas, here is the provisional timetable for services.  It is entirely possible that government directives will require changes to these schedules at very short notice.  Please ensure that you view this web page at regular intervals, as we will be using this as the main method of communication.

29th November Advent Carol Service

Sunday 20th December

10am Christmas Carol Service at Abbey Church

2.30pm Christmas Carol Service at East Boldre

Thursday 24th December - Christmas Eve

Friday 25th December - Christmas Day

10am Combined Christmas Holy Communion at Abbey Church

Attendance WILL be limited, and registration will be required for the 'non-Zoom' services.  This web page will publish details of how this is to be achieved, as things become more clear..   However, we intend that priority will be given to our regular congregation.
