Church Notices

Christmas Services; 2020

This note is updated on December 26.  We are now in Tier 3 of the pandemic control system.  There are still strict controls on public worship, which include:-  social distancing of at least one metre, assuming all within the building are wearing masks, no public singing or chanting, maximum practical air flow, tracing in place for all attendees.

Afte successful Carol Services and Holy Communions over Christmas, we are now preparing for our Benefice Service, which will be held in the Abbey Church on Sunday, December 27.  It will be at 10.00 am, and no pre-booking is necessary.   However, we are aware that some other nearby churches are NOT holding services this Sunday, space may very well be limited.  If we need to do so, we WILL turn worshippers away, so that we remain 'COVID-19 safe', even though it would be a very upsetting thing to have to do.
