Church Notices

Sunday morning worship

May 3 will be the sixth consecutive Sunday in which our churches have been closed.  There is as yet no indication when this unhappy state will be replaced by our normal Sunday habits.  For many of our congregation, attending their Parish Church (Beaulieu Abbey Church, St Pauls in East Boldre or St Katharine's in Exbury)  is an important social event as well as an act of joiint worship.

As an alternative means of worship, from last Sunday (April 26) we have arranged that a service is 'broadcast via Zoom' on Sunday mornings at 10.00 am.  This means that, provided you have a computer with camera and microphone, and you have connection with the Internet, you can be part of the group of people worshipping together.

Full details of this service (the Order of Service, the means of connection via your computer to Father John in the Rectory Dining Room, and all timings) are given in the News Sheet, called 'Locked In', which we have published for the last five weeks, and intend to circulate electronically until the end of the period of Church closures.  If you are reading this Church notice, but are not on the mailing list of Locked In AND you would like to attend the virtual service on Sunday, please email me, (Peter Melhuish) at This email address is being protected from spambots. Take care and keep safe in these troubling times
