An estimated 1300 people visited the Beaulieu Village Fete, held in the grounds of Palace House Beaulieu (by kind permission of Lord and Lady Montagu) on Saturday, July 15. The Fete is always held on the third Saturday in July, hoping to enjoy fine summer weather, and this year, once again, we were fortunate. Half the proceeds of the fete go to the Abbey Church, and half go to the Beaulieu Common Good Trust, which distributes funds to local organisations. Entertainment this year included Morris Men, a Dog and Owner Show, the Beaulieu Warblers and a display of Maypole dancing by pupils of the Beaulieu Primary School. All in all, a very successful and fun day! There are some pictures in the Gallery section of this site.
